life is for living but we think that those of us who are lucky enough to live in nice towns or cities with clean water supplies and shops that stock endless ranges of every foodstuff we can imagine have a responsibility to think of others and the planet in the consumer choices we make.
it is nice to feel we have power as consumers and to make choices we can be proud of in doing our little bit towards sustainability. we are all doing our bit and are making much better buying choices for our homes: we go to the farmers market, we buy fair trade and organic, we try to use supermarkets as little as possible or look out for local produce when we do, we recycle and we buy natural cleaning products.
but we can't all stay at home all the time, that'd be no fun ... we should be able to carry on applying our principles when we are out meeting with friends. that is where urbanangel comes in ... we apply all your good principles and do all the work for you.

did you know that our bodies contain traces of 500 chemicals that did not even exist in 1920? we think that this is a good reason for eating as much fresh, homemade organic food as possible.
ingredients
we use seasonal, fresh, local, and mainly organic produce. the majority of all our food is homemade, we try to not buy any processed or pre-packaged foods. for example we make our own bread, jams, chutneys and all our desserts and cakes are homemade including our ice-creams and sorbets.
